Born in Montreal, QC, Susan Ross Donohue was introduced to the arts at a very early age learning to draw from her father. She continued to develop her own style by studying various techniques and worked extensively in printmaking, primarily monotypes, then in oil pastels/mixed media. She won the Oil Pastel Society, Sakura Award of Excellence and recently Artist of Distinction in ArtAscent Magazine. Her artwork is in private and permanent collections including the Art Gallery of Ontario’s E.P. Taylor Research Library and Archives, the Bibliothèque Nationale du Québec and the National Library of Canada. Her work has been exhibited in North America and Europe.
